Helping Students Communicate
Rebecca Garda, M.A., CCC-SLP
This is my sixth year at Upland Terrace. I think Upland Terrace has the best faculty, the best students, and the best P.T.A. of any school I have served. It is my pleasure to work here!
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Kentucky. I earned my Master's Degree from the Ohio State University. I was a Graduate Fellow at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I moved to Utah right after I graduated from Ohio State. I lived in Salt Lake City and Sandy and worked in the Jordan School District until it split into Canyons School District and Jordan School District. I thoroughly enjoy my job here in Granite School District. I just moved from Lehi to Sandy with my husband, Frank. My daughter, Kristen, lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and my son, Kevin, lives in Sandy, Utah. I have three terrific step-children, Ben of SLC, Erin of Logan, and Ellen of France.
Working with students with speech-language impairments is my passion. I strive to help students communicate effectively and to connect people through communication.
